About Michelle Ranger
Owner & Lead Groomer
With a passion for animals that drives every aspect of her work, Michelle Ranger is the proud owner and entrepreneur behind SteamPunk Puppies Salon in Peregian Beach. With over 15 years of experience in the dog industry.
Michelle spent three years with the Jim’s Dog Wash and Grooming franchise, providing mobile grooming services that focused on personalised, one-on-one care. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for her transition into a permanent salon setting, where she now offers high-quality grooming in a stylish, steampunk-themed environment designed with comfort and care in mind.
A qualified Veterinary Nurse since 2010, Michelle has five years of clinical experience working with both cats and dogs. She further advanced her skills as Head Nurse for two years, where she gained valuable experience working with birds and reptiles. Her background gives her a comprehensive understanding of animal health and behaviour.
Michelle is also trained in dog behaviour and training, having studied with Delta Therapy Dogs, and she has experience in horse training, which reflects her diverse knowledge and versatility in animal care. Currently, she is expanding her expertise by studying Canine Naturopathy through the National College of Traditional Medicine, furthering her holistic approach to pet wellness.
